Virginia Beach Housing Resource Center
The Virginia Beach Housing Resource Center is a 63,736-square-foot, LEED® Silver Certified facility designed to provide integrated housing, healthcare, education, and support services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability. As the first facility of its kind in the South Hampton Roads region, the three-story center combines emergency shelter units, permanent housing, a health clinic, classrooms, offices, dining facilities, and community support spaces within a single coordinated environment. Constructed with structural steel framing and clad in brick veneer, composite metal panels, and precast concrete accents, the project also included extensive site redevelopment featuring new utilities, stormwater infrastructure, parking areas, landscaping, and public amenities.
